City of Dubai

Dubai is truly extraordinary. It boasts incredible landmarks like the Burj Al Arab, a stunning hotel, and the Dubai Mall, the largest shopping mall globally. Not to mention the iconic Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Every aspect of Dubai is meticulously crafted with the utmost quality and no expenses spared. It’s a destination that every traveler should experience firsthand.

When it comes to food, Dubai offers an abundance of choices. With renowned chefs using only the finest ingredients, you can indulge in cuisines from all around the globe. I highly recommend checking out Pierchic, Nathan Outlaw Al Mahara for mouthwatering seafood, and La Petite Maison for delectable Mediterranean dishes. And let’s not forget about the extraordinary high tea at the Burj Al Arab – an experience like no other! Oh, and if you have a craving for a delicious Baklava Sweet, head over to Wafi Mall at the Raffles Hotel.

Keep in mind, these are just a few highlights in the vast array of options available in this magnificent city. Dubai truly lives up to its reputation as a must-visit destination, offering an unforgettable experience for every traveler.

Dubai Mall

Located in the heart the prestigious Downtown Dubai, described as ‘The Centre of Now,’ is The Dubai Mall, the world’s largest and most-visited retail and entertainment destination, which welcomed more than 80 million visitors in 2014.

With a total internal floor area of 5.9 million sq ft, The Dubai Mall has 3.77 million sq ft of gross leasable space and over 1,200 retail outlets including two anchor department stores – Galeries Lafayette and Bloomingdale’s – and over 200 food and beverage outlets. The Dubai Mall offers an unparalleled retail mix combined with world-class dining, entertainment and leisure attractions.

The Fashion Avenue, the precinct dedicated to high fashion, positions The Dubai Mall as the fashion capital of the region. Another niche component of the mall is The Souk, an elegantly designed precinct featuring jewellery shops, accessory outlets, traditional Arab clothing and handicraft stores, among others. One of the mall’s unique precincts is an open-air streetscape, The Village that offers a rich collection of denim brands and brings an outdoor community feel with tree-lined walkways, cafés and restaurants.

The Dubai Mall features the world-class Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo featuring thousands of aquatic animals and a 270-degree walkthrough tunnel. The strong family entertainment components include KidZania®, an innovative children’s ‘edutainment’ concept; the 22-screen Reel Cinemas megaplex with a total capacity of 2,800 seats; and the Olympic-sized Dubai Ice Rink. For visitors, there is an adjoining 5-star premium hotel, The Address Dubai Mall and car parking for over 14,000 vehicles.

A massive expansion of The Dubai Mall is currently underway, paving the way to welcome over 100 million visitors. Within the first phase expansion of 1 million sq ft built-up area, the fashion portfolio of the mall with being strengthened, enhancing the city’s high-end retail offerings and further catering to the international demographics of Dubai’s tourists.

Desert Safari

The desert safari is conveniently located from the city. The drive through the desert on a four wheel drive vehicle is an unmatchable experience. The vehicle slipping through the sand dunes and being in the airborne is Fantastic. With no roads to follow it’s surprising how the drivers remember the path through the sand. Once you have completed your safari the tour group offer food and traditional entertainment …a great experience the Trafoodel highly recommends

Burj Khalifa

Burj Khalifa

Burj Khalifa has redefined what is possible in the design and engineering of supertall buildings. By combining cutting-edge technologies and cultural influences, the building serves as a global icon that is both a model for future urban centers and speaks to the global movement towards compact, livable urban areas. The Tower and its surrounding neighborhood are more centralized than any other new development in Dubai. At the center of a new downtown neighborhood, Burj Khalifa’s mixed-use program focuses the area’s development density and provides direct connections to mass transit systems. Burj Khalifa’s architecture has embodied references to Islamic architecture and yet reflects the modern global community it is designed to serve. The building’s Y-shaped plan provides the maximum amount of perimeter for windows in living spaces without developing internal unusable area

Dubai Ski

Raffels Dubai

The Egyptian theme of the pyramid-shaped hotel won’t appeal to everyone, yet the sumptuous interiors are considerably more tasteful than the exterior suggests. In the imposing marble-clad lobby are enormous round ottoman-style sofas with cushions, massive urns, mashrabiyya panels decorating nooks, and pillars featuring carved reliefs.

As long as you don’t want to be by the beach, the central Oud Metha location – close to the Old Dubai areas of Deira and Bur Dubai, yet handy for the Sheikh Zayed Road malls and financial district is unbeatable. It may not be as fashionable as Dubai Mall or Mall of the Emirates but adjacent Egyptian-themed Wafi Mall was one of Dubai’s first and is home to 300 shops and 30 restaurants. The lush palm-shaded Creekside Park is a short stroll away, while the airport is a convenient 15-minute drive outside rush hour; allow longer during peak times.

Weather In Dubai

Dubai, located on the Persian Gulf in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) enjoys a tropical desert climate, (very warm and sunny) with high humidity levels (depending on the season). It is the 2nd largest city found in the U.A.E. with plans to continue expanding at least twice the current size – with the use of man-made islands.
